Softball Preview: Centennial Eagles vs. Marriotts Ridge Mustangs

Centennial hasn't had much luck against Marriotts Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Centennial will be strutting in after a win while Marriotts Ridge will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Centennial got the win against Hammond by a conclusive 19-3. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now won four in a row.

Sophia Reichard was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Bella Leider was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double.
