Soccer Recap: Roosevelt's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Roosevelt kept a clean sheet against Huntington Park on Friday. They came out on top against the Huntington Park Spartans by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Rough Riders as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Roosevelt's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-7-1. As for Huntington Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will square off against Bell at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Huntington Park, they will challenge South East at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
