Recap: LaSalle Tigers vs. Beekman
If The LaSalle Tigers were feeling good off their 52-14 takedown of the Northwood Gators last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. LaSalle took a 35-18 bruising from Beekman on Friday. LaSalle was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Beekman apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
LaSalle's loss came despite strong showings from Tanner Gagne and Kendryk Morrow. Gagne rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, while Morrow rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
LaSalle's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-6. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Beekman, Logansport, and St. Mary. As for Beekman, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
LaSalle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Beekman also has no future games currently scheduled.
