Baseball Recap: Asheboro Hybrid Academy Takes a Loss

Asheboro Hybrid Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Level Baptist Academy Conquerors. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Conquerors from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Asheboro Hybrid Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Hudson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Asheboro Hybrid Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Oak Level Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Asheboro Hybrid Academy has already played their next match, a 13-2 win against Gospel Light Christian on the 21st. As for Oak Level Baptist Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Triad Baptist Christian Academy on the 21st.
