Softball Recap: Alpaugh Comes Up Short

Alpaugh was the 29-28 winner over Legacy Christian Academy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Buffalos fell just short of the Lions by a score of 18-17 on Monday.

Alpaugh's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Legacy Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Alpaugh wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 16-4 defeat against Laton on the 30th. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-2 victory against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 29th.
