Baseball Recap: Dixie County Find Success

Dixie County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aucilla Christian Warriors, sneaking past 5-4.

Dixie County secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Gray Wampler, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Coming up, Dixie County will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Madison County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aucilla Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
