Somerville put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Dover Tigers as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering the Pioneers have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Somerville's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Somerville will challenge Voorhees at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 1.2, the Vikings 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Dover, they will welcome Kittatinny Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
