Baseball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia suffered their closest defeat since May 9, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Klein Cain Hurricanes by a score of 6-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Tuesday.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Klein Cain, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6-3.

Coincidentally, Magnolia and Klein Cain will both be playing Klein Forest the next time they take the field. Magnolia will head out to face Klein Forest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Klein Cain will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
