Volleyball Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian Comes Up Short

Central Wisconsin Christian lost against Abundant Life back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Challengers.

While Central Wisconsin Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Abundant Life work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 27-25, 31-33, 25-18.

Abigail TenNapel paced Central Wisconsin Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. TenNapel got some help from Hannah Abel and her 15 assists. Kiley Beer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Central Wisconsin Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Abundant Life, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Central Wisconsin Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wittenberg-Birnamwood on the 20th. As for Abundant Life, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Marshall on the 20th.
