Softball Recap: Kingston Takes a Loss

Kingston lost against Port Angeles back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Roughriders by a score of 5-4. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Port Angeles, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kingston is set to take on their familiar foe Sequim at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Port Angeles will face off against rival North Mason at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Roughriders 3.4, the Bulldogs 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
