Basketball Recap: Angoon Takes a Loss

Angoon lost against Skagway back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Angoon Eagles had to suffer through a 84-45 loss at the hands of the Skagway Panthers.

Angoon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Skagway, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

While Angoon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
