Soccer Recap: Pleasant Grove Starts Season with Victory at Home

Pleasant Grove took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They blew past the Foothill Mustangs 5-0. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 722nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pleasant Grove hit Foothill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Osian Jones (2), Julian Sevilla (2), and Jayden Ventura.

This is the second loss in a row for Foothill and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 win against San Rafael on the 6th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Natomas on the 5th.
