Recap: Harmony Eagles vs. Newton Eagles
The Harmony Eagles and the Newton Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Harmony Eagles had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 54-24 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Harmony's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Harmony still got an impressive performance from Boston Seahorn, who threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns. Seahorn hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games. Tyson Jenkins was another key contributor, picking up 147 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Harmony's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Newton, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record.
Harmony does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Newton will head out on the road to face off against Daingerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Daingerfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
