Basketball Game Preview: Foster Falcons vs. Clear Brook Wolverines

The Foster Falcons and the Clear Brook Wolverines will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Foster's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Foster is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Fort Bend Travis just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 74-67 to the Tigers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (65), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Foster got top-tier performance from AJ Patterson, who shot 71% from the field en route to 27 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Patterson now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Camran Bateman, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Clear Brook ended up a good deal behind Dickinson on Friday and lost 67-52. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Gators: they've now lost eight in a row.

Clear Brook's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Foster, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Foster took their win against Clear Brook in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 58-36 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
