Basketball Recap: Wallace Takes a Loss

Wallace lost against Dundy County-Stratton last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wallace Wildcats came up short against the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers, falling 65-40.

Dundy County-Stratton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lane Bybee led the charge by going 8 for 15 on his way to 18 points along with eight boards and three blocks. Bybee's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Latta, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

Wallace's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Dundy County-Stratton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

While Wallace had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
