West came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Foothill Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

West not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Foothill between 15 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Jayla Graham-Smith paced West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Graham-Smith got some help from Jolene Quezada and her 12 assists. Alexis Dizon controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

West's victory bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Foothill, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17-1.

West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Tehachapi on the 29th. As for Foothill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Del Oro on the 29th.
