Soccer Recap: Roxana Extends Winning Streak to Three

Roxana won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Friday too. Roxana never let Greenville get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that Roxana have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kylee Slayden, who's now up to three this season.

The win was the third in a row for Roxana, bringing their record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Greenville, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Roxana will square off against Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greenville, they will take on Gillespie in a tournament on Saturday.
