Centauri won the last time they faced Pagosa Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-17, 22-25, 25-16.

Kynlei Curtis paced Centauri's offense, picking up 17 kills. Curtis got some help from Kenadie Wilfong and her 38 assists. Analynn Dwyer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pagosa Springs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Charity Domingo, who had ten digs, and Tatiana Monterroso, who had ten digs. Sydney Plake also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Centauri's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Pagosa Springs, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Centauri will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brush at 2:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Pagosa Springs, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bayfield on the 28th.
