Softball Recap: Tempe Prep Comes Up Short on the Road Against Phoenix Christian

Tempe Prep had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Phoenix Christian Cougars, falling 25-0. The Knights have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Phoenix Christian pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Tempe Prep will host Horizon Honors at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Horizon Honors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Tempe Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Phoenix Christian, they will welcome Arizona Lutheran Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
