Volleyball Recap: Henderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Henderson had taken Downingtown East down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 21, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Henderson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Henderson suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Downingtown East, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Henderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Shanahan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Downingtown East will face off against rival Avon Grove at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
