Basketball Recap: Stuttgart Skates Past Dewitt with Ease

While Stuttgart didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the DeWitt Dragons to the tune of 59-25 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ricebirds also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2018.

Stuttgart is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for DeWitt, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stuttgart beat DeWitt by a score of 64-30 on Thursday.
