Baseball Recap: West Clermont Wolves vs. Kings Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lebanon, West Clermont was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Kings Knights get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The Wolves were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Wolves were just returning the favor.

The result came thanks to Caden Yearwood's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because West Clermont is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Gavin Speranza was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since April 1st. A Harley also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
