Basketball Game Preview: Lake Quinault Elks vs. Ocosta Wildcats

The Lake Quinault Elks will square off against the Ocosta Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Quinault has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

Last Friday, Lake Quinault had to suffer through a 63-16 loss at the hands of Ocosta. While losing is never fun, the Elks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Wildcats are ranked 187th).

Ocosta is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Lake Quinault, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
