If Gilpin County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clear Creek, they should've done a better job of containing Zephyrus Schuessler. The Clear Creek Golddiggers put the hurt on the Gilpin County Eagles with a sharp 53-30 win on Saturday thanks in part to Schuessler, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Schuessler is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Clear Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Gilpin County, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

When Clear Creek and Gilpin County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clear Creek will challenge Front Range Christian and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Gilpin County will try to stop SkyView Academy's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
