Baseball Game Preview: St. Augustine Prep Hermits vs. Mainland Regional Mustangs

For the second straight game, St. Augustine Prep will face off against Mainland Regional. St. Augustine Prep will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mainland Regional at 4:00 p.m.

St. Augustine Prep is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Mainland Regional. St. Augustine Prep blew past Mainland Regional 13-2 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Hermits sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

Jameson Dobis looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, St. Augustine Prep got a massive performance out of Joe Peacock, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave Peacock a new career-high. Marco Christopher was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
