Volleyball Recap: Benton Comes Up Short

Benton lost against Savannah on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Savages by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Keely Grissom, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Savannah, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Warrensburg on the 30th. As for Savannah, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Kearney on the 27th.
