Adding to the longest winning streak in 6-Man East (6 Man) this week, Midwest beat Farson-Eden 52-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Oilers.
Midwest took down the Pronghorns 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cam Ray threw for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns, ran for 128 yards and caught 1 pass for 13 yards in the win.
Ken Swieter's team's dynamic duo of Ray and Landon Rodabaugh proved to be unstoppable against Farson-Eden, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Josh Lindsay helped Midwest's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 41 yards.
Kiya Guseman made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Oilers beat the Pronghorns. The 6-foot-0 sophomore recorded 2 fumbles.
6-foot-2 quarterback Taylor Rouse of Kaycee is the league leader in passing yards this season with 645. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Celsey Meyer. The HEM star has 19 catches for 336 yards.
In 118 carries Rouse has put up 997 yards this year.
Guernsey-Sunrise led the league in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on Little Snake River. Brady Esquibel threw for 65 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 140 yards during the win.
