Basketball Game Preview: Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones vs. KACHEA Wildcats

The Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones will take on the KACHEA Wildcats in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Elizabethton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.

Elizabethton is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since February 16th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Morristown-Hamblen East by a score of 71-69.

Meanwhile, KACHEA waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Highlanders 66-49. The Wildcats pushed the score to 54-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Highlanders cut but never quite recovered from.

KACHEA's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Elizabethton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
