Basketball Recap: Johnson's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 67-53 bruising from the St. Louis Park Orioles.

Johnson's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3. As for St. Louis Park, they moved to 5-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Johnson and St. Louis Park should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Johnson (ranked 43rd) will meet Highland Park (ranked 161st) at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Meanwhile, St. Louis Park will face off against Washburn at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday up 168 places (51 vs. 219).
