Softball Recap: Providence Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Christian lost against Brantley back in March of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-5.

Providence Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season. As for Brantley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-10 record.

Coming up, Providence Christian will take on Wicksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brantley, they will challenge Rehobeth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
