Cross won the last time they faced Holy Trinity Classical Christian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cross Stingrays simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Holy Trinity Classical Christian Mighty Lions 69-29. The Stingrays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Cross' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Mayers led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Mayers a new career-high in boards. Sydney Hollings was another key player, en route to 17 points and five steals.

Cross smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.

Cross is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. Holy Trinity Classical Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Cross wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-24 victory against Oakbrook Prep on the 17th. As for Holy Trinity Classical Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 65-28 loss against Charleston Collegiate on the 14th.
