Basketball Recap: Oaktree Academy Gets the Win

Oaktree Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 37) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers 68-65. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Chargers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 64-55 defeat.

Oaktree Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Oaktree Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Veritas Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Isle of Wight Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
