Recap: Legend Titans vs. Legacy Lightning
The Legend Titans stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 82-36 win over Legacy at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-15.
It was another big night for Grace Stanley, who scored 18 points along with seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Ava Gavi, who scored 11 points along with six assists and four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Legend and bumps their season record up to 13-1. As for Legacy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legend will face off against Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Legend is ranked second). As for Legacy, they will head out on the road to take on Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
