Softball Recap: Ballard Memorial Comes Up Short

Ballard Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Tornado this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Ballard Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was G Glisson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ballard Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Paducah Tilghman, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 20-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballard Memorial will square off against Massac County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will face off against Lyon County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lyons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Blue Tornado surely won't give up without a fight.
