Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. St. Teresa Bulldogs

The Lincoln Railsplitters will be taking part in a tournament against the St. Teresa Bulldogs at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. St. Teresa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.

Lincoln saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Macomb.

Lincoln didn't let Macomb take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, St. Teresa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Macomb.

St. Teresa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record this season.

Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Teresa in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Railsplitters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
