Basketball Game Preview: Eupora Eagles vs. Winona Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Eupora Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Winona Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Winona will be up against a hot Eupora squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 48-12 win over French Camp Academy.

While Winona didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past J.Z. George, posting a 64-22 victory. That looming 64-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Eupora's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Winona, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Eupora against Winona in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 63-35 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
