Cherokee has gone 9-1 against Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Chiefs will head out to square off against the Vikings at 3:45 p.m. Cherokee is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

On Wednesday, Cherokee sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Rancocas Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chiefs have posted against the Red Devils since May 9, 2023.

Meanwhile, Eastern fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Audubon on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 9-6 to the Green Wave.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Cherokee, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.

Cherokee got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Eastern by a conclusive 12-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
