Here are 10 national standouts who starred during the regular season but figure to make even larger impacts during state-title runs.
8. Gary NovaSchool: Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.)Position: Quarterback
Grade: Senior
The Ironmen don't need to pass often, but when they do, Nova makes the most of it. Of his 45 completions, 12 have gone for touchdowns. The Pittsburgh-bound senior averages 131 yards passing per game (786 for the season) and has a gaudy quarterback rating of 141. The 6-2, 195-pounder hopes to lead Don Bosco Prep to its second straight unbeaten season.
