Basketball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West lost to Plymouth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Terrors lost 91-66 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Terrors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Panthers are ranked 128th).

Appleton West's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Plymouth, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Appleton West will head out to take on Hortonville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plymouth, they will square off against West Bend East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Suns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 76.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
