Soccer Game Preview: Don Lugo vs. Walnut

The Don Lugo Conquistadores will face off against the Walnut Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Lugo's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Don Lugo finally turned things around against Colony on Monday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Conquistadores' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Walnut kept a clean sheet against Wilson on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Wildcats. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

With that draw, Don Lugo's record moves to 3-4-1. As for Walnut, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.
