Denham Springs put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Dutchtown Griffins onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while the Griffins are ranked 35th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Denham Springs pushed their record up to 15-0-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight matchups. As for Dutchtown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-5 record this season.
