Soccer Recap: King Takes a Loss

If King was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Almeta Crawford last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Panthers fell just short of the Benbrook Bobcats by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Benbrook, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1-1.

King has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against West Fork on the 17th. As for Benbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Goose Creek Memorial on the 17th.
