Recap: Bayside Academy Admirals vs. Mobile Christian Leopards
The Bayside Academy Admirals lost against the Mobile Christian Leopards back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bayside Academy fell to Mobile Christian 57-52. Bayside Academy has struggled against Mobile Christian recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Mobile Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael MJ Moore, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. The game was Moore's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicklaus Allen, who scored 15 points.
Bayside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Mobile Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bayside Academy will take on Dale County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dale County has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20. As for Mobile Christian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Murphy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Murphy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
