After a string of three wins, Sedro-Woolley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Mount Vernon Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Sedro-Woolley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mount Vernon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Sedro-Woolley's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Mount Vernon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sedro-Woolley will take on rival Anacortes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mount Vernon is set to challenge their familiar foe Bellingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
