Pana won the last time they faced Gillespie and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers breezed past the Miners to the tune of 36-8. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Miners are ranked 489th).

Pana's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Moore, who rushed for 39 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 134 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Moore a new career-high. Cayden Durbin was another key rusher, rushing for 100 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Pana's record is now 3-1. As for Gillespie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
