Basketball Recap: Kyree Ware's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eagle's Landing over Mcdonough

Eagle's Landing lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kyree Ware, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Gavin Adams was another key player, putting up 16 points.

McDonough's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zaiden Greene led the charge by dropping a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Zion Greene, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Eagle's Landing's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for McDonough, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.
