Soccer Recap: Wheatmore Wins Going Away Against Albemarle + How To Watch

Albemarle kept up with Wheatmore until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Warriors blew past the Bulldogs 5-1. Carter Queen was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Wheatmore and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Albemarle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Wheatmore and Albemarle will both be playing South Davidson the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
