Softball Recap: Kimberly Bulldogs vs. Buhl Indians

Kimberly put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-3 margin over the Buhl Indians. The victory was familiar territory for Kimberly who now have four in a row.

Addi Clark made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Clark has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Clark was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Madi Trappen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-5. She hasn't dropped below three hits for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Brooke Koehn, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

On Buhl's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harleigh Slagle, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
