Salamanca came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Royalton-Hartland Rams to the tune of 68-40. The Warriors pushed the score to 52-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams had little chance of recovering from.

Salamanca got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leilene Mccomber out in front who went 7-for-14 on her way to 20 points and seven steals. The game was Mccomber's third in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Crouse, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Salamanca was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are a perfect 10-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Salamanca pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Royalton-Hartland, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
