Football Recap: Bear Creek Piles Up the Points Against Silver Creek + How To Watch

Bear Creek put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Silver Creek Raptors to the tune of 49-15. With the Bears ahead 35-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.

A big part of Bear Creek's victory came down to the chemistry between Riley Wilson and his top target Donaven Walker. Wilson threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes while Walker picked up 102 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Kamari May, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD.

Bear Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 200 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Bear Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. Jonah Hernandez was especially locked on to Silver Creek's QB and sacked him three times. Hernandez also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven. Jd Lazzaro was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Bear Creek's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Silver Creek, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Bear Creek will challenge Brighton at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Silver Creek, they will take on Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
